Fucking cold. reminded me of a story....
In college I spent two summers in New Hampshire at a camp for rich Jewish kids from Long Island. The second year, I went early for pre-camp which included putting in the docks. Lake Winnipesaukee is fucking cold that time of year. The camp had this old dude who was a fucking brilliant self-taught engineer. He built the place over the years with no plans. I saw this dude build a metal barge on land and paint a waterline on it before he ever tested anything. Dropped in in the water and watched it bounce right to the water line. Amazing guy. But I digress....
This collection of college kids was standing waterfront early in pre-camp. Fucking freezing. The old man approaches the shivering group. Looks at us and says (in a thick New England accent), "Booouuyyyysss... I woke up this morning and it was so cold that my balls were up inside me. And I had to stick my finger up my awss and yell 'snake' to find my dick". We all laughed and decided we'd follow him anywhere. Into the water we went, laughing, and put in the docks.
I wanted to be a Monk, but I never got the chants.

Man we are getting hammered with snow again. Huge front going northeast plus the back flow on lake effect sitting over the top of the city and collar towns. We're in the zone. Expecting double digit snowfall, I've already cleared a ton and it's not even the big storm yet.

I saw back home in Ohio got hammered pretty good too. Glad I'm not there.
Still a bit chilly here in SC but at least it finally quit raining.
Weather is changing back again....currently sunny with a high of 32° (0C) today. Supposed to be in the 50's by the weekend.
