I don't like Dunkin Donuts or Krispy Kreme to be honest.
When KK opened up here people would drive for an hour to get to them Now I think they're mostly gone. Soggy boring donuts. Krispy Kreme I've been to only once to be fair, but my coffee was curdled and the restaurant itself was a dump.
When I was having stomach problems I read some of the urban legends about Timmy's coffee - it has nicotine in it, it has crack in it, they do something to the cream.A legit sample was sent to Toronto for analysis
and they determined that it is regular cream and sugar in the coffee. What's unique about it is that they use a reverse osmosis process in their coffee machines which leeches a chemical from the coffee bean that essentially makes
everything you throw in the cup, less sweet.
eg If you put 3 tablespoons of sugar in a normal cup of coffee most people would think it's way too sweet...same 3 tablespoons in a Timmy's brew and the coffee bean extract leeches the sweetness.
The lab also reported that a normal large, double double contains 14 GRAMS OF SUGAR (not even looking at the cream content) There's a nationwide addiction right there...
Wow, crazy about the reverse osmosis! I'm going to read up on that.
But that sugar is effed I always get large single-singles which I tell myself isn't as bad. It's probably half the fast I need in an entire day.
I've seen people order small and medium triple-triples. Why don't you just forgo the coffee and put syrup in milk at that point Disgusting.
I had a triple espresso shot from Starbucks once back in '98. I thought I was gonna have a heart attack after I drank it.
DGX I worked with a guy who would have a shot of espresso in his coffee (there's probably a name for that), every day he worked in a row over 5. So once he'd work 9 days straight, he'd drink a coffee with 4 shots of espresso in it. It always amazed me that he could even fuggin' see after that
Interesting to have never tried Starbucks at all Their coffee blows but I have to admit a few of their mixed drinks are good. They make a green tea smoothie and a green tea lemonade that are good, and their ginger-snaps are the best. Aside from the fact that it's $12 for a cookie and a drink
Can't make a green tea frap at home though
I'd love a decent cup of coffee about now.
I wanted to be a Monk, but I never got the chants.
Have a Coke instead
