    Masturbation doesn't count!

I'm too tall and a little too old to want to try it in the backseat anymore...

I'm 40 years old, 6'2" tall, and really heavy.

But, find me a girl ready to spread her legs and I'll squeeze my fat ass into any backseat you got.

"using whatever engine, axles, interior and other parts they can find on their own."

15000 for the body and you gotta fill in the blanks?

horseshit....you have to find and install everything from the seats to the engine and drive train? Kiss another 20000 goodbye

Other than the problem with not having a VIN, TBH, this isn't that bad of a deal. Absolute POS rust bucket First year Stangs routinely got for anywhere from $7-10k. If you aren't capable of repairing all the damage yourself, that can quickly add several thousand, BEFORE prep for paint. Even if you can do the repair yourself, patch panels and equipment to do the repairs can cost well over a gran or two, then, you'll STILL have to do interior, engine/drive-train.
I would rather that the price be in the $8-10k range, with a valid VIN, but tbh, if I had the cash, I'd spend it on one of these in a heartbeat, as I have neither the skills nor desire to replace 40+ years of rust and road rash.

Clue me in and mind you I'm not a car guy, but why is having a vehicle identification number so important here?

In a nutshell, without a VIN, you can't title it, insure it or in anyway register it. No tags, inspection sticker, etc.

And by all means, feel free to ask, lord knows there are many things I don't know, so I have to ask as well.
