I've been hunting around in Australia and actually Samsung has a pretty fantastic deal. If you pre-order the S23 ultra, you get a free upgrade from 256/8 gig to 512/12 ram, plus $300 credit (galaxy watch 5 almost for free. And interest-free payments over 3 years. So I'm basically looking at $35 a month.
Only trouble is it's a brick. I was complaining about not being able to pick them up in the store. you know how they are tethered down. So they gave me dummies of the three options that are the same weight and size. The S23+ is the perfect size for me, but the screen on the Ultra is much much better. The font is just that little bit larger for any kind of newsfeed or anything important - and importantly crisper and cleaner. The text on the other phones looks kind of grey in comparison. In short ultras upgraded AMOLED screen blows anything else away. Any tension in my eyes just evaporates.
I have 2 days to decide.
Edit: dictated but not sighted. Lol.

Ice cream for a pot luck
A new 12" compound sliding miter saw. Already had the stand from my old one. The old one (kobalt) just wouldn't stay square and plumb. Itd have been fine for framing/construction, but I need something a bit more accurate.
The new Bosch is perfectly plumb out of box, and only 1/32" out of square rear to front slide. It has great reviews and best of all I got it $150 less than msrp. It actually didn't cost me a dime, as I sold 6 48" lights i had left over from a reno job years ago that I sold for $600

Fantastic. Do you have in mind any projects to 'break her in' with?

A new wheelchair cushion... again. These should last longer than less than two fucking years, but they're not. It's kinda bullshit for $468. The one I'm currently sitting on is causing problems... and these problems are going to be expensive... i.e. I'm gonna need to see a specialist again. The last time, it took over a year to fix the fucking problems. And it was fucking expensive. Now we have inflation. It's gonna be even fucking worse.
Yay! I'm in hell!

First project is trying to build a bookshelf for youngest daughter. Nothing really fancy, but I plan to build it with no nails. Just glue and pegs. Between this, my router and the table saw I inherited from Dad, I should have everything I need other than a drill press.
The main reason for this purchase is replacing all the moldings in home, as well as lvt flooring in home and studio.
