Okay, so it goes back to the states... it's still government property. no power to the people there...
The article Porky posted said the states suffer from lower federal funding with federal land... so that would imply that the federal government does provide a revenue stream for public lands.
The other confusing thing is the definition of federal land. Does that include national parks, wildlife refuges, national forests, etc? Are you guys saying there should be no such things?
