This chick at work got a huge tattoo...supposedly a large bird with wings expanded across her entire back in lifelike colors for 400 bucks. So she asks if I want to see it one day and lifts up just the back of her shirt. I say - I can only see the bottom part but why is it all green?

When I used to listen to Jim Rome regularly he used to talk about that on the rare days that it rained in SoCal, how a little rain could bring the entire city of Los Angeles to a standstill with TV stations having reporters based outside reporting on the "storm".

Its not even a joke, its bad enough I dont even come into work if it rains. It adds and hour to my already 1.5 hour drive.

It was a few years back (teehee) like maybe 15? Anyway word on the street was 400 bucks was quite a bit for a tattoo.

I admittedly don't know anything about that world. And her tatt was quite good. Lots of color layering in between the feathers etc.

No offense and I do understand it's other drivers that cause that problem in your rain situation, but when we hear of people not being able to drive in the rain it's considered funny. Up here rain is something we're thankful for because we save on carwashes

I've posted some snow pics before of my hood and I realize it's repetitive. Try driving in a foot of snow with ice underneath. It's not 'if' there will be an accident, the question becomes how many. We have over 200 fender benders a day on average after it snows and I hate it more every year. You gotta have a pretty understanding boss after leaving one hour earlier for work than usual and still being late.

It's so bad that if one lane is closed or an accident happens, you can rely on being stuck there for two hours.

What they don't say after driving like that for let's say one full hour or two hours to be realistic under those conditions on ice and snow, is the constant state of alertness needed really wears you out.

It's like clenching your butt cheeks for two hours and then releasing when you see your house.
