I have to admit, this pisses me off to no end when people do this. And the fucking clerks never say anything.

I was behind an old Asian couple as they unloaded a cart full of stuff in the express lane. Our limit is 16 items so I smiled and said - That doesn't look like 16 items! Wife looked back at me, said something to the husband and it sounded like a full scale argument as they checked their stuff through Both the upper part of the cart and the lower rack was loaded with stuff.

It should be legal to shove an ice pick right into the brain stem of those people

I blame the clerks too, they need to say something when it's blatantly obvious. I mean it's one thing if someone is one item over the limit, but it's another when it's a cart full of stuff FFS.

Agreed, the cashiers have to monitor that stuff and tell people to remove it. That Asian couple had like three full aisles of individual items on the conveyor
