I think I mentioned this before, but one semester in college I was overloading classes (7 in one semester), and I had one of those nightmare weeks where every class had something due: homework in every class, 3 tests, 2 group projects all in the same week. So basically, in order to get it all done, I had to pull 3 to 4 all-nighters in a row. I can't remember exactly how many I did, because by the 3rd day, I was hallucinating so bad from lack of sleep, everything became a blur. The funniest thing about that semester was that stuff like that happened frequently, just not as bad as that particular week, and I crushed everything and got a 4.0 (perfect score). I still have a hard time remembering what went on that semester. And I didn't even go anywhere near drugs of any kind.
