But they can interbreed and produce fertile offspring, I am not saying that the sub Saharans are vastly different to the rest of the planet that moved north and then expanded across the globe, they very much are, but still same species.
The 10-15 of homo erectus etc left in them is comparable to the 10 neanderthal leftovers found in European folks.
We are clearly different, but I wouldn't say at a species level.
