Broncos finished the season on a 4-1 run with the new kid. Actually excited for next season for a change.
And the Pats lost to the Dolphins and it cost them a first round bye this year.

This game is a shit show. Wentz got tackled in the 1st quarter and hurt his pussy, so he's out now.

I honestly didn't think we'd make it. The entire NFC East was a shit show this year. If they let teams in the playoffs by position in the Conference instead of Division, we never would have been in there.

I'm on the fence about 're-aligning' the playoffs in the NFL. I mean, the NBA did it and it makes more sense to let the BEST teams into the playoffs and not reward a team for playing average in a shitty division. Especially when a team with a horrible record gets to host a wild card game just because they won their division and a team with the better record has to go on the road. But it doesn't happen enough (like it did in the NBA), so is it worth changing the entire NFL playoffs because it happens once or twice every dozen or so years?

Looking at the NFC standings this year, the Rams were the closest to the Eagles by record and stats. They had the same record but were slightly better in points for and slightly worse in points against. If we took the top 6 teams in the Conference by record and stats, maybe the Eagles still would have been the sixth team this year, so maybe they still would have made the playoffs. Maybe they wouldn't have had home-field advantage, but they still would have played. This year wasn't an outlier.

Maybe there should have been a tie-breaker game between the Eagles and Rams.

The NFLPA would never go for another game. They won't even let the NFL consider adding a 17th regular season game and dumping a meaningless pre-season game.
