Y'all aren't gonna win by field goals alone. Get in the end zone dammit.

The Broncos stadium is only 15 years old and now they are trying to say it needs "millions" in upgrades for the team to stay competitive
They haven't seemed any less competitive in the past 2 games.

Teh One Who Knocks (09-21-2016)
Think they might be petty enough to start throwing games to get upgrades to the stadium?

No, it would be more like what happened when ownership wanted us taxpayers to pay for that now old and broken down stadium, they'll threaten to move the team.
That's a joke. How many billions did they pull in last year and they can't pay for their own upgrades?

It's ridiculous...I actually voted AGAINST the stadium bond issue, but it passed by a 2 to 1 margin anyways.
From the Denver Post:
The value of the Denver Broncos has risen nearly 25 percent since last year, increasing to $2.4 billion from $1.94 billion last year, according to Forbes’ 2016 assessment of the NFL’s most valuable teams.http://www.denverpost.com/2016/09/14...team-value-up/The No. 11 Broncos’ annual revenue was estimated at $387 million last year with operating income of $82 million, up from $346 million last year and operating income of $66 million — pocket change compared to the $700 million in revenue and $300 million operating income for the Cowboys.
Forbes attributed $192 million of the Broncos’ to the value of the team’s brand and another $292 million to the stadium. Perhaps the home team will rise in the rankings once it finds a buyer for naming rights to Mile High Stadium. The name of failed retailer Sports Authority remains on the building, but the team paid in bankruptcy court for the right to control which company becomes the next naming sponsor — and how much it will pay.
I wouldn't care if they won the Superbowl and if they were loved by me and the rest of the city, I'd tell them to go fuck themselves and pay for their own upgrades. People pay enough to go see them play.
