Being born in Boston and growing up in New England makes you a member of Red Sox Nation if you even remotely like baseball. There was a time in my life where I thought I would never see the Sox win a World Series and now they have won 3 in the last 9 years. Absolutely amazing and this may have been the best one yet winning it at Fenway. This was truly a good group of guys and a team you could feel proud to root for. Congratz to the whole Red Sox organization for this worst to first turnaround.
I think it's nice for Boston to have this after the marathon bombing. After what those people have been through, they deserve to have something to celebrate and be happy about as a city.
