Yep - they suck worse than a crack whore with braces.
I have too many years with them to just turn my back - but ya - they suck.
Hopefully they can dump some players and re-build like the blackhawks or the pens.
That is the real and normal way to rebuild....Burke seems to think otherwise
Don't get me wrong - I think Kessel is good - and from most years is better than a lot of 1st round pics.
I think there are a few players that they can move for draft pics.
I can't see Toronto making the playoffs for a few more years
He was the best forward for the Leafs tonight BUT was he really worth Seguin a possibly top 5 pick this year and a 2nd round pick?! Sure draft picks are not actual player....YET (BTW it weakens the Leafs...but I still hate that trade personally)

I did not like the trade either - I thought they gave up too much. But I do like Kessel as a player

Salo looked good in his return. First game of the season, he played around 15 minutes.
He did take one penalty for hooking after being caught flat-footed on the rush but he still played well and we need him.

In addition to the suspensions, Gillies will lose $24,193.53 in salary; Martin will forfeit $41,585.36 (repeat offender); and Godard $40,322.25. The Islanders organization has also been fined $100,000...
