Some paper published an article recently saying Twitter has run its course. It had an interesting run for sure, but the good stuff on there is absolutely buried under a high mountain of bullshit, attention seekers, and most vile of all - trolling. Seems completely accurate.
I've never used twitter and I don't think I ever will.

i was at a comedy show a month or so ago (audience about 75-100 people I would guess) and the comedian had some comment about, "who here uses twitter? you can follow me at ....". Dude seemed upset when it was crickets for the only response to his inquiry
