I think it was a given that LA was going to win this. But its sad and pathetic seeing the refs in LA try to assist them in any way possible. That bullshit hooking call where the Rangers scored shorthanded...yeah fluke backfire...follow that up with what's his name dragging his leg and ACTING! it out! and drawing a penalty, where the kings guy should have been the one with the penalty there for obstruction - even the commentators called the shit out of that one....and unfortunately that bullshit call led to a tied game. That other call where the main ref overruled the line judges where the puck went into the king's bench right before the end of regulation....both line judges with the better view on it said it went in the kings zone and should have been a faceoff there instead of bringing it outside the zone, with the game winding down...

So yyyyyeah....while the kings would have won anyway....we can give a nice big ASSIST to the fuckin LA refs I hate nothing more in the sports world when games are ruined by poor or biased officiating. It really pisses me off. Wonder how much the center judge's friends had bet on the LA win last night I hate it when I have to yell at the tv.

Hindsight is 20/20 and the game moves at a ridiculously fast pace. I'm sure the refs are doing the best that they can. Don't automatically assume that they're bought/stupid/biased in any way. These guys work for the NHL, not the NBA.

In the fastest team sport on the planet, the NHL refs are head and shoulders above every other officiating staff in the world of sports.

Not a big deal perhaps, but the Phoenix Coyotes are changing their name to the Arizona Coyotes in order to be all inclusive of the state of Arizona.

But you root for the Avs too right!? They're going to be sick this year.

Canucks signed Miller for 3yrs, $6 mil per... not a huge fan of this. But we have 3 highly anticipated young goalies who might just need that time to develop...

Yeah, I like the Avs too, but I'm surprised the B's let a 30 goal scorer go like that. They weren't exactly an offensive juggernaut, they are more of a defensive minded team.

I wonder why they did, he was a great fit there I thought. He put up big numbers, had the grit that fits the Bruins style. Maybe just making way for the younger guys?

Plus I dunno what the Avs are thinking, they traded Parentau for Briere (who is 5 years older and a 4th liner with Montreal) and they just lost Paul Stastny

I think Nathan McKinnon, Duchene, Landesgog and O'Reilly are going to keep getting better at such a rate that it will all be okay! Briere is so clutch in the playoffs too, while PA didn't do much.

Brière is still a top 6 forward, he played on the 4th line because of a slow start and had issues with the coach (As far as I can tell, Parenteau had the same issues with Roy)
