Glad he's ok. He joked on twitter he's doing well and 'thanks for understanding the delay for the update, my phone's face recognition didn't recognize me' Gotta love hockey players.

Also 90 zippers is no joke! I'm sure they're tiny plastic surgeon stitches not the big knarly grandma stitches we had as kids, but still...
The Flyers have been kicking ass as of late. What's gotten into them?

When did the Red Wings get so awful? Worst record in the NHL by a long shot and their goal differential is hideous. It's more than twice as bad as the next "worst" team.
Montreal Canadiens great and Hall of Famer Henri Richard passed away today at 84

The ex-baseball player? Isn't he in his 50s?

Yeah, he's 53, but he's also played hockey before. And it's not like he'd be skating up and down the ice.
I heard an argument this week that the NHL hates this because it makes their league look amateur, and the attention the EBUG brings they feel is sort of 'laughing at us, not with us.'
Thoughts?
As a life long hockey fan I don't see it that way, I know that being a pro hockey player is as hard as any sport, the jump from semi-pro to the NHL is just massive and the EBUG stuff is a rare sideshow.... but the NHL is already the little cousin of the NBA/MLB/NFL in a lot of the US where they want to grow the game the most. I guess I can see how this might be construed as looking unprofessional if you're an outsider.
