I know, i know, he was 5th pick or so, but you get the idea, the Timberwolves could probably win the lttery three times straight and still stink as long as their management doesn't improve. Look at the bucks, I think they had about six top five picks over the last twenty seasons, including two or three times that they won the lottery. Nonetheless they only made the playoffs twice in all that time. The aforementioned Nowitzki-Traylor trade was only one out of many good picks they wasted.

the annoying bit is that Dallas could well have won if the likes of Terry and Stojakovic had seized their opportunities. James' foul on Terry was disgusting though, shows his lack of class.

And I see Dirk hurt his finger last night. Sounds like it's semi-serious....so I'm thinking that will give the league the reason to have the Heat win the series in 4.

I agree 100%, drafting a guy out of spain that refuses to come to your team prior to the draft doesn't seem to make much sense to me, even though I'm incompetent...

It will be sad to see Shaq go, but it will be the best for him. He had such an injury plagued year for the Celt's this past season.
