I never followed college basketball, but when he was drafted by the Magic that made waves here, too. think of all the hilarious crazy shit he pulled, what with his rap albums and movie appearances, a bus full of kids and his rows with Kobe only to name a few...yeah, i know. just the end of an era i remember from his college days, so it makes me feel old

He did play limited minutes most of the season with an injured foot though, but you're probably right. If he isn't a dominating player in europe by now, it's not likely that he'll be anything special in the NBA. Look at Dirk, for instance, he was the best player in the german league at 18 already and never stopped learning.And look at the greatness he brings to the court

Yeah, I'm kinda pissed about that half court buzzer shot Miami made. It was an amazing shot, but back court should have been called and the 3 points shouldn't have counted. The announcers agree. Mavs would have won on that one technicality.

it's easy to look at one bad call and say that was the difference, but realistically, the mavs had 3 quarters to make up for at least that bad call. i really thought they were going to win this one again coming from behind...
