DGX took The River?
It got me hooked for another week at least. It's not all shaky docu-style with the camera all the time so that helped. From what I gathered from the first two episodes it's like X-files along the Amazon so far. Some of the acting was a little hokey though.

It's ok. Not spectacular, but not horrible either. Some people may think otherwise. I don't see it going too far, maybe no more than a season, although they do have an opportunity to cover some really interesting paranormal story lines. The doll island episode (episode 2) was really cool, if you know anything about isla de las munecas. It's an interesting story.

I didn't say it was bad. In fact, I think it's a fresh change from the rehashed crap that I'm sick of seeing. But, again, I don't see it going very far, given the setting and the supposed 'endgame' that the show set up from the outset (Find out what happened to Emmet Cole, or find him if he's still alive). It wasn't spectacular, but then again, what is nowadays?
I could be wrong, they could take it in a lot of directions. Like I said, I can see that they have opportunities that they can take advantage of. Whether they do or not remains to be seen.
I'm going to keep watching.
I have enough shows on my DVR, if you came out and said. Wow it was awesome. Then I probably would have gave it a look. But, I have enough mediocre to watch
