Seconded. Back in the nineties I had the pleasure of spending an evening with a young Bostonian woman who was in Chicago visiting relatives. I was all but giggling, yes, giggling like a child, with delight every time I got her to say 'Charlie Chaplin'. It was adorable! Accents can be fun.
I'm told by people from both New Zealand and Australia that I say a lot of words in a funny way, particularly water. That word stands out because more than any other, they always commented on how I said 'water'. So accents are fun for everyone!
