seems like there's lots of sci-fi's this summer using the moon as a subject....hope Bay listens to the critics and tones down the frenetic, barf inducing camera work for this one

I agree...a friend at work got to watch his buddy's 3D tv, complete with the 300 dollar glasses. He said the cartoon or whatever they were watching looked good but he wouldn't watch tv all night that way.

I think that 720P or 1080P is good enough for me...nice clear resolution and good color.I don't trust glasses that fool your eyes into seeing a certain type of imagery.Watch...in 10 years there will be class action lawsuits for the damage that 3D glasses cause on people's vision.

my mrs went to watch Avatar with a friend in 3D, she made sure she wore her contacts so as not to have glasses over her glasses, but after an hour or so in she had to take the 3D ones off as it was giving her a headache, she's not the only person who has said that to me either about the 3D glasses. most of them also wear glasses either daily or just for reading/TV so might be something connected, might not.

i'm lucky to still have 20/20 vision but i'd be interested to see what longterm effects 3D technology would have on it.

I had perfect vision my whole life...up until last year and then it literally went overnight.I asked the optometrist if this was normal (losing vision so quickly) and he asked me a bunch of questions about my reading habits. He said that because I've spent almost the past 10 years reading primarily off of a monitor from over 14 inches away, that somehow could have affected my visual focal point.

So yeah I can believe that habits or devices can negatively affect your vision (in my case it could have been turning a certain age too )

ohh i'm pretty sure my eyes are gonna fail on me, both parents now wear glasses . . . . i just hope they last longer than my knees and shoulders are!!! i aint even 30 yet and their on the sliding scale to failure! 7 years ago the docs took all the cartlidge out of my left knee as i'd pretty much destroyed it all, and confidently informed me that it would be a dead cert that i'm getting arthritis in that knee before i reach 'middle age' . . . . . . yeah cheers for that happy new doc! . . . ya bastid!

im glad i dont read that much either . . . . dont wear out the eyes too much that way!
