Yep, the weather couldn't be more perfect for it. Low 60's at night (perfect for the campfire) , mid 80's daytime. Been breezy the past few days. Got about 30lbs of brisket I'm smoking tonight. Folks should start arriving tomorrow around 10 am or so.

Strange to think that I will be 43 tomorrow. I still feel 20ish mentally.

I know how you feel, I just turned 45 and feel the same way.... not so much a grown up yet

I borrowed a buddy's trailer smoker (mine doesn't have enough room to smoke that much meat) and it's the first time I've used it. Keeping my fingers crossed. "Bought to go out and throw some more pecan wood in to bring the temp back up a bit.
