I just got back from the Trans Siberian Orchestra. Second year in a row, and I think it'll be my last. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a bad show, I just get bored easily. I think the show was a little longer this year and it seemed that they had more lights than last year. They had a tribute song to their former producer who died earlier this year. It was a good show, but I need something a little different now. I'm not much for forming habits with respect to shows. I don't get people who have to see the same band 20 times a year every year. It doesn't make sense to me.

Kick: The INXS Experience at House of Blues. They sounded great. The lead had the Hutchense look, but was more effeminate.

The opening act was a local The Who cover band called Who's Who. They were fun! The lead singer looked more like Meatloaf than Townshend or Daultry, but he was hilarious.

Sister treated, including dinner, so bonus for a free night out.

I just realized there was some serious shade in this thread, then I realized it was from 2017, then I realized I corrected GF more than a year later.

Has it really been that long since ya'll posted about shows or did GF just fuck everyone up? I'm going with the millennial fucking up.

No, I haven't been to a show in a while. I'm assuming Porky's been too busy with his side gig to go to as many shows as he used to. Red's just not coming in much anymore since he got a job, so if he's been going to shows, he's not coming around to talk to us about it. The shade's what Muddy gets for coming in and talking trash on some good bands, but it's all done out of love. And yeah, the millennial fucked up, but when has that ever stopped us from doing what we enjoy doing?

All the time. They are a living breathing dystopian fantasy.

I saw Fortunate Youth twice during the Thanksgiving holiday. The brewery has its 7 year anniversary tomorrow and we have 3 bands playing.

Last show I saw was Let's Eat Grandma in Portland... not my usual genre but it was really good. Their most recent albums was named by Pitchfork as one of the best of the year.
