We have Brown Recluse here in Virginia.. They arent exactly the spiders in Arachnophobia that Noilly makes them out to be... (love ya' Noilly )

I know...love you too Muddy! But I have a healthy respect for a spider that if cornered will actually take a run at you. This I've seen firsthand in an old office I was running Cat5 cable in, in a basement that hadn't been opened up for a few years.

And, if you're unlucky and get bitten just once, the scenario that Richard C describes can play out...so I'm staying the hell away, thanks!

Best thing to do with these -- expose the place to VERY bright lights for at least a day. They'll vacate then.

Yeah, I'm sure you guys would have no problem at all living in a house infested with thousands of poisonous spiders
