If $4/gal gas is a good thing as our president says then $5/gal is even better!

It's QUICKLY on the way to $5/gallon in Denver. Prices are up with every new day. Almost $4.50 up near my house and the station closest to the shop is at $4.60/gallon now. You could still find gas in the $3.90's range last week.

I was home Mon evening, it was $4.39, Tuesday morning it was $4.69. The Island gas station is around $5.50, the marina gas for boats is over $7

Do you think that gas companies are also milking the world/domestic situation for as much $$$ as they can get as well?

Those two stations are now $4.70 and $4.80 per gallon as of this morning on my way to work.

Do people commute 40 miles each way there? Mine is now 9 miles, shortest commute I have ever had.
public transport is a joke unless you live in a big city and my commute used to be a 45 mile round trip, but several people i know commute 100+miles a day

Saw the first 2 stations on my drive to work with prices at or over $5/gallon. One close to my place right off the interstate was $4.999/gallon and the one close to work as you get off the interstate was $5.099/gallon.
