I think it's really what I was alluding to before....some folks are driven to have a partner to feel that life is complete...some people go another way (piss off AT )


To me life is a series of paths to be explored. Not marrying someone, doing the 9-5 and 50 years later wondering on what you missed out on.Not saying that marriage or having a partner for life is a bad thing...it's just not my thing.
I believe that we all go through the grass is greener phase at times, I certainly miss the comfort and security of having a significant other for life.No one wants to be alone forever...but I'm somehow good with that

I think everything in life is more fun with a partner. Sex, drugs, movies, breakfast/lunch/dinner, shopping, vacations, raising children, video games etc.

Some people want that partner to be permanent (husband/wife) and some people will do the above activities alone or will substitute a friend for a partner. There is nothing wrong with being single and having lots of friends (online or regular) or no friends, but it's not for me.
