I bet they milk the idea of Raylan walking the line between the law and crime for the next 2 episodes.

I've got my money on Loretta killing Boone.

I don't like it when series bring all this gravitas at the end, while using crappy secondary characters. I don't care about them or know them really...I had the same feeling about Breaking Bad and the Aryan guys at the end. Other than Todd, they all seemed like B character afterthoughts and the same thing happened here. I just wasn't as invested in people like Earl and his bro...compared to the Crowe family.

The Mikey/Wynn/Catherine scene was great, I loved it and didn't expect it. ( Wynn, FTW! )

They brought Boone in too late and killed off Ty Walker and his 2-man crew way too soon. Boone should have been there the entire season. His character shows so much promise in being one of those guys that just dogs the shit out of people.

Earl's more robust of a character than Carl was, and Carl was around for 3 seasons.

I thought it was a waste to knock off Dewey so soon in the beginning of the season. Granted, it ain't over yet, but for a series regular, there should have been more weight to it, more consequences in the aftermath. It should have led to something bigger. It feels like they just cast him aside, like they didn't know what to do with him. I want more Dickey Bennett as well. One scene of him in prison just isn't enough. It was a mistake to put him in a wheelchair. He's such a great character when he's being really bad.

I always thought Mikey was a joke, but damn, he killed Katherine hardcore after taking 5-6 shots to the chest. That was intense.

I'm tellin' ya, man, Loretta's gonna take out Boone.

Even Mikey was a secondary character when compared to his long time role...not saying I didn't like the scene or appreciate how situations like that can and do get screwed up all of the time..I thought it was one of the best exchanges on the show since the start How Wynn cradled him at the end and how Mikey's code won out over everything...damn

It's just that he becomes so instrumental when his former role was almost comedy relief in the past...

Yeah you read my mind. I love the Crowes and especially the actor who plays Dickie Bennet...it's too bad he's so good and does other roles


For Boon(e) I say this - Big buildup and lots of dialogue (one reviewer compared his phrasings to Deadwood ) ...and then Raylan is going to cap his ass in about .5 of a second...

He definitely looks like he belongs in a western type setting with his mannerisms and the way he talks. I thought for sure Raylan was going to end him in this last episode, but then Markham let Raylan on in

I hope his demise is funny...as mentioned, Boon walks in and starts pontificating on a subject and Raylan just shakes his head, whips out his gun and shoots him in the forehead.

I guess Raylan ending up not with Winona after several years makes sense, considering they never lasted very long twice before, but it kinda feels like a slap in the face.

I'm glad he didn't kill Boyd. I thought the last few lines of dialog between them was a bit touching... as well as the dedication to Elmore Leonard.

I am gonna miss this show.
