DJ/Producer's of Mau5's stature know that they make bank off of people coming to their shows and rolling or tripping balls. Its an unspoken knowledge. There has been a lot of good press about EDM compared to 10-15 years ago when it was associated strictly with drug use, so I guess they gotta keep the image up and speak of only legal things.

oh ffs there was only one concert that I didn't do drugs for....one out of hundreds.I've seen everyone from BB King to Pink Floyd to U2....and I'd much rather see kids getting fucked up in a controlled venue like that, than out on the street or in a back alley or park somewhere...

and most performers that I've seen have asked the audience if they're fucked up one way or another.I saw GnR when they were a warmup band and Axl referenced cocaine during intros to every other song
