Aye we do have a shitload of old things here. Most are pretty well preserved also. The buildings seem to be preserved better than our social heritage does. Shame really.

We have a comedian called Eddie Izzard who in one of his shows says that it always amazes him when that when he walks down the street and bumps into someone he doesn't know, no-one ever says, "Ooh it's a large world, I've never met you before".

As England is relatively small to Oz and other big countries I guess it is a small world most of the time to us. We do like to travel though. No doubt one of your relatives has some nefarious connection to the UK.
