Today I am apprehensive...I have a physical with my MD in an hour. I feel fine. This is at the insistence of my wife, who's bro is suffering from cancer and wants me to get to the Doc because I just turned 50.
My blood pressure rises when I'm there, and luckily my Dr knows this...last time he had me bring a blood pressure monitor home and it showed all was normal.

Yea full physical work ups suck. They're so obtrusive, enough to make anyone a at least a but nervous. Well good luck there NP hope you get a clean bill of health.

Thanks, guys. Initial stuff is good...have to now go to a lab and get it all tested. I thought of singing "Moon River" but thought better of it. Geez, not even dinner and a movie first!

If misery loves company -- I went to a funeral on Friday of a 47 year old friend. Damned cancer - she leaves behind 2 pre-school kids and a husband who loved the stuffing out of her.
And, I helped remove all the stuff from my Father-in-Law's place because he's now in a home (at 92), and his place just sold. My Aunt-in-Law just went in a home too, so we helped cull the stuff out of her house that she'd been in for 70 years (she's 93), and that place just sold as well.
So today I am mad at the world..well, more exasperated. No, that doesn't fit either. Not sure what I'm feeling.
