IMO people seem to expect too much from FPS's these days. They're not something that allows for more and more maps and missions to be tossed on like RTS or old school games. *shrug*
It takes a lot to put together what is essentially three full length movies in a row that are beautiful, intelligent and above all else - interactive

nuketown is fun against the clueless bots in combat training......like lambs to the slaughter
did you know, that if you shoot all the dummys heads off within one minute in nuketown in combat training, you get a jingle playing. it does work, but there are 2 dummies outside of the fence.

That's why you play online
Sandbox games for sure give you a lot more scripped gameplay than FPS, but aren't nearly as fun online. It all rounds out...
oh BTW I HATE FPS on console
I'm just downloading Bad Company 2 for PC... been a long time since I played FPS on a console so it's going to take some getting used to the mouse/keyboard but I know it's better. I just love the Xbox 360 control

dude, I've clocked 106 hours on fallout 3.... and it looks like I'm only about 2/3 the way throughI dunno about you but I don't feel like spending 60ish$ for 5 hours of game play
