Yup, same way here, all they sell are the 'big' brands, so a pint of Budweiser in a plastic cup was $7 last year
Tbh it wouldnt bother me as much if it was draft beer........ but those extortionate prices for canned lager...... fuck that!
They sell canned stuff too, but it's usually more expensive because it's the 'premium' beer. Really on a super hot summer day, even Budweiser on draft isn't all that bad to drink.
I dont mind bud tbh, id rather have a bottle/can of bud than a can of tennents. These days im more of a dark beer drinker (none of the poncy fancy stuff though), fizzy lagers tend to give me a far worse hangover
