Yeah Most likely going for a rescue dog, something that's house trained and probably on the smaller side (unfortunately ). Its more to keep my dad company and give him a reason to get out of bed in the morning. With his MS its all too easy for him to just laze around all day - Tony made a massive positive difference in that regard

Yeah, the shelter or a rescue group is always the best way to go. And small-ish is okay, as long as it's not a Chihuahua or a teacup poodle
