Supposed to snow here tonite and tomorrow....high for tomorrow is supposed to be 11° (-12C)

The snow is one thing...I hate giving into pain.I had to leave work Friday afternoon when I probably could of just sat here and done this.I can't remember most of the weekend and had to come home last night and watch the Superbowl at home.

Bright side is....today the tumor may explode and I won't have to bitch anymore

I also took tomorrow off as yet another holiday so I can lay around and not fight this weather.

I read an article in a magazine about paranoid people with head pain (I'm in that category too...not saying you are ) and a doctor said in the article that there is less than .001% chance that even severe headaches turn out to be too-mahs.

Oh I have enough medical proof to know the cause anyways Multiple MRI's, CT scans and one billion X-rays...

Here's something to chew on....my best friend's son goes to school with a 9 yr old lad.I guess the young guy was having all sorts of mysterious stomach problems.They tested his guts 10 ways to Tuesday until finally some forward thinking doctor did a brain scan.Turns out the boy had a tumor and it was behind his stomach difficulties.Luckily it was in a spot that could be removed, apparently he's gained some weight back and feels like a normal kid again.I like hearing those types of stories.

Fire is some scary shit. We had two apartment fires here in January. I think one was a Christmas tree and the other was a guy falling asleep smoking. Classic stories that just keep happening. Good thing that family got out of there in time.

HOooooly shit the house across the street from my parents burnt down last night!! Totally gutted.

Fire started in the chimney even though they just had it cleaned, spread through the attic and someone walking their dog noticed smoke just in time to warn the family before the fire spread to the rest of the house. The couple and their toddler got out just in time

Apparently it has been a pretty crazy scene there this morning!

Whoa....good thing the neighbor was on the ball.

I changed a smoke alarm battery this weekend and had the conversation with my Dad about not letting the smoke alarm go even one night without a battery.He was impressed with my caution.

I'm lucky here, there smoke detectors are all hardwired in...no batteries to worry about.
