Yup, only had Friday off last week and Friday off this week. Most likely going to be a quiet week I'm thinking.

Nope, left a little early Christmas Eve day and maybe leave a little early New Years Eve day, but that would be about it.

Pretty run-of-the-mill here, exchanged gifts in the morning, dad and i went to the club for a few beers in the afternoon then home for dinner, couple of neighbours popped in for a drink or two and a bit of a sing song (Gordon and i both play guitar). It was about the same here...got up in the morning and opened presents, just the 3 of us, then we went off to the g/f's parents for Christmas brunch and more presents and then went and saw my dad in the nursing home.

We got spoiled last winter.
Interesting fun fact - I just watched The Revenant (good outdoors movie) and they tried to film most of it in my backyard last year. It got so warm they couldn't even use snow making machines
They ended up going to some part of South America to finish the scenes. Production went over budget by 30 million and something like 4 extra months of shooting.
