Yeah, the cops do jack shit about the fireworks, even though they are illegal. I actually wrote an e-mail to the mayor last year complaining about it and she basically said there's nothing they can do, too many complaints and they get to them when they can, but not a high priority thing.
Even though there were several brush fires started over the weekend from fireworks and in the southwestern side of the city, a house burned down because someone was using illegal fireworks.
I take it the city will have its own legal fireworks display every 4th? Ive never understood why folk waste money on a few shitty fireworks when you can go to a real display and see the best that money can buy.
Yes, there's fireworks all around from the different cities, you can take your pick of which one you want to go to. And as for the fireworks, all someone has to do is drive 100 miles north of Denver to Cheyenne, Wyoming and you can buy fireworks that are almost as good as the professional stuff...and then bring it back to Colorado where it's illegal.

It's ridiculous....how many fucking fireworks do you need to set off? It's been going on for days now.
Ive never bought a single firework in my lifePerth has a great firework display every 5th november, youd need to spend around £20k to match it yourself

We were closed Monday and yesterday too, not too hectic going yet
We had about half our customer base open on Monday so it just piled up... Love it.. Well at least it is job security..
A good share of both our customers and vendors were all closed on Monday, so I didn't come in to that much of a back log this morning

There was a small cracker called a "Tom Thumb" and kids used to use them to blow frogs apart.... !
