Lance.. Question for you.. I am going to build a stone firepit... I want to get a big grate to put over the top and use it to set oysters on to cook and also maybe set a cast iron skillet on top... I need it strong and would need it to resist bending when hot.. What material would you use for the grate?
Cast iron would be ideal if you could get it, depending on how big it is. Otherwise, stainless steel would probably work well too.
Im thinking about making a square fire pit.. Everybody does this round cutesy stuff..
