My front rotors warped. Sounded like air brakes on a fast deceleration. Warranty replacement. The delay? They fucked up a stem and lug when they did the tire rotation and the parts store never got the order. Still waiting. All while the manager has his regional conference call with the regional manager swearing and bitching the whole time.

Had that a few times on both my cars. I think parts are becoming less and less well made.

Rotors are much thinner and lighter than they used to be. They need to be replaced with every brake job on most cars these days, no more turning to resurface, there's simply not enough metal there to keep them "true". On the up side, typically they are much cheaper to replace than they used to be.The polar
