Probably won't have to work with her. Ran into two welders I've known for over 20 years. One recognized me immediately, but the other didn't and still doesn't remember me. I think it's funny. I'm surprised I remember him considering how much pot we smoked back then...
When I got in from work yesterday, my laptop and new wireless modem were gone. I checked under the sofa and through the house before calling 911. Then I called the landlord. Apparently, he knows who's breaking in, but the police can't arrest him because they don't have evidence.
I went to Verizon and replaced the modem with mini netbook. Put it in the car this morning. At least the parking lot is secure.

I know. I saw the guy this afternoon. He lives just down the street and sneaks up through the woods. When I got home today two of the 4 neighbors were outside so I stopped and told them what happened. One has been broken into twice, the other three times!
The landlord is a friend and is getting ready to evict a guy who won't pay his rent and I'll take that place. It's cheaper and fully furnished and out in the country near the farm where the landlords live. I just don't leave anything of value in the trailer when I'm gone. I can deal with it for a couple of weeks.

I'm not sure if you've ever ridden the tram that goes up Grouse Mountain in Vancouver... I worked up there for a few summers years back. On the way down when it went over one of the towers it swung back and forth a few times. Enough so that your stomach would kind of go up into your chest a little. The tourists always screamed... and one time one particular douche screamed out OH MY GOD IT NEVER DOES THIS

I don't think he was ever welcomed back but damn it was funny...
