Tough to find a comfortable, lightweight, trainer-style work shoe that doesnt fall apart quickly in my line of work
Do you need steel toes or anything like that?

I swear by Caterpillar...it's all I buy now. I wear work boots with steel toe. I get the hiking boot style. I'm still wearing the same pair I bought over two years ago and I wear them at least 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. Super comfy too. I used to be a Wolverine guy, but their quality went downhill.

Not necessarily........ i mean, it is a good idea to have steel or composite toe caps but not mandatory as such. If i could get a trainer style shoe that's really hard-wearing yet lightweight and comfortable i'd quite happily do without the toecaps. Toecaps can be a bit annoying anyway since i spend a lot of time on my knees and the caps dig into the top of my feet
Well, time to stop looking at work boots and actually do some work.......
The hard part is finding a sneaker/trainer style shoe made for work. The biggest thing in that category is boots. And I hate the "tall" boots, that's why I always go with the hiking boot style.
