Need for Speed I
Need for Speed I
the multiplayer head to head is a bitch to coordinate
910 hours put into Skyrim...
well I guess I got my money's worth outta that piece of software
Picked up Alan Wake for the pc this past weekend...third person adventure game that's all mood. Besides normal weapons like a handgun, light plays an important part because most of the enemies are dead guys and demons from hell apparently...
Creepy atmosphere walking around a dark coastal town with some interesting minigame type scenes like figuring out how to start a generator...
Not sold on it yet but it is different
so Alan Wake is a bust....nice atmosphere but endless repetitive fights with the bad guys
Picked up Amnesia:The Dark Descent. Older graphics, first person view with no weapons or health meter...
Guy walks around a castle solving puzzles and being afraid...that's it He has an insanity meter that grows when he spends too much time in the dark or sees a bad guy...
I had my guy cratered on the ground, seeing imaginary bugs he was so scared
unusual and interesting....it already gets a 9 out of 10 for originality
The sanity meter from Amnesia
Some screens from Alan Wake..
Great idea and atmospheric graphics...unfortunately the clunky third person view and getting overwhelmed with scores of the same enemies made me turn off.
was playing Amnesia :The Dark Descent and took my guy into this really creepy morgue...
I checked his sanity status and it's " ... " and the little brain graphic is completely fried
Been playing "The Hunter" today, you basically just wander around a game reserve hunting for deer (you can hunt for various other animals if you stump up some readies!). Graphics are pretty damn good Can be quite time consuming though and it pisses me off when i find a wild hog trail or something like that but i can't shoot them without upgrading my licence
