Red my main man, my sons DSI-XL is on firmware 1.4E, do you know if the above card will work? there is a lot of speculation and confusion as to wether this will work?

Nintendo brought out a firmware update last year, as I said im on 1.4E.. thoughts?

i would say yes

it seems to have this patch http://www.r4li.com/download/DSi1.4.1e_1.4.2c.html on it from what i can tell so you should be ok ,from the info i've found on the net,plus they say it's been tested , i've just had a delay on an order for an acekard2i from the same place that was found to be a fake so they sent an email letting me know and a new batch turned up a week later ,but that was only for a lite

you could cover yourself and fire an email to them asking if it will work (their customer service team seemed good for me)that way should it not work you have it in writing and can send it back under the internet distant sells act

The Acekard 2i is better because the r4 team has disbanded and the Acekard team is still producing updates. As a result of the r4 team no longer being active the majority of the r4 cards are fake. I bought the Acekard 2i last month and every game so far has worked. I got mine from here and it came in 5 days (I paid $6 extra for Royal Mail tracked delivery):

The website you linked to lists prices in pound sterling but I can guarantee that the items are still coming from China because it is currently illegal to buy/sell these types of cards within the UK.

Ah yeah I had a look on Google and the r4 menus do look very sweet. You can also add your own themes with the Acekard; I'm using a Zelda theme right now and I love it ;D

I was thinking about making a thread about these cards the other day. They are so cool

i was making good money with them a couple of years back was sometimes selling 20 a week then people started to find them for themselfs now do 1 or 2 every few months which tbh is ok because i was getting fed up of them

ok, I think I will go for the acekard 2i, whats the best place to get it from? I dont trust UK resellers because of all the fakes and they have been banned, any thoughts?

Ordered the ak2i last night, looks like the firmware has also changed to AKAIO (Ace Kard all in one) has anyone used this yet?

I've tried a Zelda one and a Mario one. Found hundreds online so there is a good selection.

Card arrived, installed the AKAIO firmware/software and its bloody mint! awesome.. all of my nds files run without a problem, and the cheats database in xml format is brilliant.. the user interface is much better and the card itself is more solid... thanks guys.. Im ordering shit loads of them now
