Amazing putt by Creamer to win the HSBC Championship this past weekend, in a playoff no less!
Goofy (03-04-2014)
Yeah, some putt that! Also from the past weekend - Rory's approach at 18 on the final hole of the championship - needed a birdie 4 to make it into the play-off, eagle would have won it.

I didn't think it could get any worse for Tom Watson regarding the Ryder Cup last week but it has. Way worse, even.
Bob Harig of ESPN had a tremendous report on Friday basically painting Watson as a detriment to the United States side on Saturday night before the Sunday singles matches.
"Four sources who witnessed the proceedings in the U.S. team room at the Gleneagles Hotel said Watson took no responsibility for any shortcomings, scoffed at a gift that the U.S. team members gave him, ridiculed several European team players and started the proceedings by denigrating the Americans' play that afternoon."
Yikes.
And somehow it gets worse from there.
"Watson started by saying, according to all of the sources: 'You stink at foursomes.'
After praising the rookie team of Patrick Reed and Jordan Spieth, Watson went through the Sunday singles pairings and ridiculed several members of the European side as he went through the matchups. Soon after, Watson was presented a gift by Furyk, a replica of the Ryder Cup trophy that was signed by every member of the team. Instead of thanking them, the sources said Watson said the gift meant nothing to him if the players didn't get the real Ryder Cup on Sunday and that he wanted to be holding it aloft on the green in victory.
Said one of the sources: 'That's almost verbatim. He said it basically means nothing to me.'"
The entire story is pretty wild as Harig had some deep sources on the US side and it does shed some light on why Phil Mickelson would do what he did on Sunday night.

Two of the PGA Tour's sartorial stalwarts are considered by their peers to be the most overrated.
A Sports Illustrated anonymous survey of PGA Tour players recently found that Rickie Fowler and Ian Poulter are considered to get too much hype given their perceived talent level. Both Fowler and Poulter received 24 percent of votes on the question of which player is most overrated on the PGA Tour.
The 26-year-old Fowler has just one PGA Tour win, a playoff victory over Rory McIlroy and D.A. Points in the 2012 Wells Fargo Championship. However, he became just the third player (Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus) in golf history to finish in the top five in all four majors in a season. Then again, he was also the first player to accomplish the feat without winning one of the majors.
Poulter hasn't won on the PGA Tour since 2012 either. He lost control of The Honda Classic in March, paving the way for a surprising Padraig Harrington win. He has eight top-10 major finishes, but some have been considered "back door" in that the 39-year-old Englishman made his charge on Sunday from well back of the lead.
Two-time Masters winner Bubba Watson came in third at 12 percent. Hunter Mahan was in fourth with 8 percent. Given the Golf Boys' representation in the survey, it's somewhat surprising Ben Crane, despite winning five times on the PGA Tour, didn't get fifth place.

Golf superstar Phil Mickelson is being accused of allegedly wiring nearly $3 million to an “illegal gambling operation which accepted and placed bets on sporting events,” according to a report by ESPN.
Mickelson, who was not charged in the scheme, allegedly sent $2.75 million to a former sports gambling handicapper who was connected to an offshore operation, sources told ESPN’s "Outside the Lines."
Gregory Silveira pleaded guilty to three counts of money laundering of funds from an unnamed “gambling client” between February 2010 and February 2013, according to court documents obtained by ESPN’s “Outside the Lines.” Although Mickelson’s name does not appear in the court documents, sources familiar with the case told ESPN that the unnamed client is Mickelson.
The plea agreement, which was signed May 1 by Silveira, included a reference to the “money laundering of funds from P.M.” ESPN inquired about the reference, which then prompted the U.S. Attorney’s Office to file a motion to have the original plea agreement stricken. On June 18th, an amended version was filed that took out any reference to “P.M.”
According to court documents obtained by ESPN, Silveira accepted a wire transfer of $2.75 million from a “gambling client” to his Wells Fargo Bank account in March 2010. A few days later, court documents show Silveira transferred $2.475 million and then $275,000 to another Wells Fargo account and then transferred the $2.475 million to an account he had at JPMorgan Chase Bank.
“At the time, defendant initiated these three transfers with the intent to promote the carrying of an illegal gambling operation,” according to a plea agreement.
The investigation was led by the Internal Revenue Service and court documents do not indicate what prompted the investigation.
Mickelson, a five-time major winner and one of the PGA tour’s wealthiest and most popular players, was investigated last year by the FBI and Securities and Exchange Commission for his possible role in an insider trading case. Mickelson was cleared of any charges after an investigation found no evidence of any wrongdoing.
