Lately I've been finding new music by commercials. A commercial will come on, it'll have a song I've never heard before that I find catchy, and I'll go to hunt it down. Sometimes I'll find it quickly, sometimes it'll take a little longer, and sometimes I'll have to ask someone else what the hell that damned song is. Well, I guess I figured I'm not the only one wondering who the hell these bands/artists are, so when I run across a commercial with a song in it and I hunt it down, if there's a youtube video for it, I'm gonna throw it up here. Y'all can do the same if you want. Or if you run across a commercial with music in it that you're not familiar with, and you're too damn lazy to search for it on your own, put a request in, and maybe someone will take pity on your lazy mooching ass and find it for you.

This kick ass tune was featured in a Ford Mustang commercial. I love Mustangs, but I don't think I've ever wanted one as badly as I did after seeing the Ford commercial with this song in it.

I heard this one in a commercial for a computer/video game. I believe the game was called Dark Souls, or something like that. Anyway, I loved the song, so here it is.

Actually, I don't. I hardly watch tv at all. I have a few shows that I watch, occasionally the news, plus baseball and football and that's it. I keep the tv on when I'm doing something else to give me something to tune out. It helps me concentrate better. It's just that, every once in a while, a commercial song will catch my ear, and because I've been a musician since the age of 8, I naturally want to hear more.
