12 unreleased Jimi Hendrix songs to debut March 5

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- A new Jimi Hendrix album is coming March 5.
The musician's website says "People, Hell and Angels" contains 12 previously unreleased tracks recorded in 1968 and '69.

Rolling Stone revealed the album cover on its website Wednesday.

Hendrix recorded the songs apart from the Jimi Hendrix Experience as he considered new, experimental directions for his follow-up to "Electric Ladyland." He plays keyboards, percussion and a second guitar on the album.

I wouldn't say that........ some women i know don't like Jimi either

i liked most of his stuff but found that he could get a bit carried away when playing live and it just turned into a noise imo

you need to listen to a few more songs other than the Star Spangled Banner at Woodstock ffs

he has put out at least 5 songs that I recall

He used to accept gifts (pills and acid) minutes before going on stage

In one case they set up recording equipment for one of his live venues, not a common practice back in the day. He took some bad LSD that a fan gave to him about an hour before the show...


the couldn't use one song the performance was so bad
