I spend all year giving to one charity or another from both my own pocket and through the business so this year I am supporting an animal charity, these guys do an awesome job and rely solely on charitable donations.

I'd look around for homeless people in the area and give them food/warm clothes. With charities you never know how much will go towards those in need and how much will go to employee wages
This is the place where I volunteered for about 2 years...it's a great, grass roots charity that typically helps kids in crisis moments. Husband hurts someone, house or jobs are lost etc...
I know you chose me last year RBP, just wanted to show part of my past life and name-drop a no-nonsense charity that actually works and does some incredibly selfless things for children.

I just finish up with Movember and raised $355. The money goes to men's health issues that sometimes gets over looked. It raises awareness and funds issues like prostate and testicle cancer.
Any local animal charity would be good too.
never ran away for the sake of scars!!!

Bump for more ideas! I have enough cash flow now to do my donations.
I wanted to be a Monk, but I never got the chants.

Man I'd LOVE to send a care-package to the troops. It seems quite complex to get it all shipped and delivered though.
RBP you rock. I'm going to give cash to the equivalent Canadian fund to whichever one you chose at the end of this thread.

Is there a relief fund for the kids who survived the shooting yesterday yet?
Try this GF, not much but it is a start,
