It's not that, using the grip he does makes it easier to drive the point of aim while maintaining better control.

Ask any tri gun shooter, non use the vertical grip.

Because tri-gun shooters use dual sights on their race guns, and when you hold it in that fashion it's easier to swap between optics and iron sights.

I soon discovered this was an impossible task. If an AR was available it would be priced at twice what it would have sold for a month ago.

So instead I opted for one of these.



It's chambered for 5.56 so will also fire .223 reliably. The cool part is that it feeds from any AR-15 magazine.
...can't wait to get it to a range.

I jumped on while it was available, the pickins are getting slim in the shops.

It's semi auto. like the mini 14, sks, m1, ar15, ak and variants, etc..

I already have a mini-14 and a mini-30 both with a variety of 10,20.and 30 round mags along with plenty of ammo. I felt the need for something else to eat my supply of .223 ammo in a SHTF scenario. The simplicity, dependability, and accuracy of a bolt seemed like the logical accompaniment.

I will also get something to feed some 7.62 ammo to.
