Food for thought. How is having Ukraine join the UN to our advantage? Ukraine needs to keep peace with Russia. Not our problem.

It's kind of hard to keep the peace with a larger nation that seems hellbent on invading you. Are you willfully forgetting or did you just not learn anything from the early stages of WW2?

I think the point was it if Ukraine becomes NATO then Russia has the enemy right in its doorstep. From their perspective. Russia is responding to this sort of stuff (despite what Biden says).

Ukrainians are incompetent & corrupt. They have everything to gain from joining NATO but will make s*** allies

The Ukrainians maybe a lot of things, but (a) that doesn't justify Russia's actions and (b) the one thing they haven't been is amassing a shitload of troops at their border with Russia unprovoked. If Russia deescalates, then they have nothing to worry about. It's not like NATO's going to invade Russia.
