For centuries, Hindu women have worn a dot on their foreheads. Most of us have naively thought this was connected with marriage or religion, but the Indian Embassy in Washington , D.C. has recently revealed the true story.

When a Hindu woman gets married, she brings a dowry into the union. On her wedding night, the husband scratches off the dot to see whether he has won a convenience store, a gas station, a donut shop, or a motel in the United States. If nothing is there, he must take a job in India answering telephones giving technical advice you can't understand.

They are. The pic's a criticism of Kamala Harris claiming she's African American. Her mother was Indian (proper Indian, not Native American), and her father is Jamaican-American. I know what you're thinking, but if you asked a Jamaican if they were black, they'd take offense and say that they're not black, they're Jamaican. I've known several Jamaicans and we've had that conversation.

I've been through that too. I dated a Puerto Rican woman once. It slipped. I took a vicious verbal bashing for hours and was apologizing for the better part of a week.

Yep. His father was Kenyan (iirc) his mother was 15 I belive. Maybe 16. The way I read the section of code dealing with natural born citizenship, his mother was not legally able to file Barrack as a citizen. Its been a bit since I went down that rabbit hole. I'll admit I might be misremembering it slightly. Have a look for yourself. I do remember at the time wondering why that wasn't the subject of his questionable citizenship.

By that logic, arent we ALL african?? After all its the birthplace of humanity.
I've personally always had a problem with *-american. If YOU immigrated, then fine, but your children are american, period.
