After Daenerys told Sam that she killed his father and brother, Sam went outside and found Bran. It was night, and Sam asked Bran what he was doing there. Bran told Sam that he was waiting for an old friend (before telling Sam to go tell Jon the truth). Bran was in the very same spot the next day when Jaime showed up. Bran was waiting for Jaime all night long. He knew Jaime was coming. Then Bran just sat there staring at Jaime until he looked across and noticed Bran and realized who he was.
